Introduction to scalable architectures
I recently did a presentation on scalable architectures at the Gapstars hosted Explorer Series 2.0 event. It was an introduction to a topic that I'd been learning more about in the last few years and it was pretty fun to share what I'd learned with more people. It also made me think about writing longer articles on the specific topics themselves so that I could cover them in-depth and learn more along the way.
The presentation itself was focused on PHP but the core concepts apply equally to all platforms. The presentation is available on Youtube and is also embedded below.
Note: This was during peak COVID-19 times so I had to present from home and I disconnected briefly in the middle.
