Never too old to make dumb mistakes
I got my first computer when I was 13 years old.
I've been programming for about 22 years and I've been paid to program for about 13 years now.
I'm an AWS certified Solutions Architect (Associate).
I co-founded a startup and designed and developed the technical solution for six years.
I'm currently a senior tech lead.
I'm also a giant muppet.
Which Muppet Are You? | Beaker muppets, Muppets, The muppet show Yesterday, I accidentally pushed an access token for an internal service to a public repository. I did this even though it shouldn't have been in the example ENV file. Thankfully it was automatically detected and the token was deleted, but things turned hairy for a little while.
Just goes to show that you're never too old to make dumb mistakes. Remember kids, there are no shortcuts to good software practices.
